Rev. David Lawrence “Dave” Scovill

Rev. Dave, along with his wife, Esther, moved to Papua in 1960 and for nearly half a century served as a missionary in Indonesia. The Western Dani tribe in Irian Jaya (now Papua) has been the focus of their ministry and home to their two children.

He was a pioneer and missionary linguist, church-planter, and teacher, Bible translator, and mission administrator. He spearheaded and participated in the Bible being translated into the Dani language

DR. STEVEN B.M. PANTOW, M.Pd

Pastor Steven Pantow was born on May 30, 1968, in Manado. He is married to Febe Novtalina Lumbantoruan and has three sons: Hen Efraim, Dave Kristodolou, and Petra Faith.

He began pioneering evangelism in Sewan Rawa Kucing in 1998 to transform the neighborhood, which was experiencing economic hardship at the time. He was determined to carry the vision of Faith, Knowledge, and Service as a belief to help those experiencing hardship.

Pastor Steven Pantow began his evangelism through kindergarten and continued to expand his evangelism through elementary, junior high, and vocational high schools under the Gracia Abadi Foundation.

He has also served as chairman of the Synod of the Indonesian Evangelical Presbyterian Church (GPII) since 2020 and continues to promote evangelism through formal educational approaches.
